Exhibition of contemporary fine art and applied art
By textile artist and Full Member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts Erzsébet Katona Szabó
“Irrespective of how much we get entagled in the mazes of colours, shapes and smells that surround us, gardens are no longer seen as wilderness even if these gardens happen to be the most wild-growing and exuberant English gardens. Our perspective is quite the contrary: gardens are now interpreted as the borderline and union not only of nature and man, but also of wilderness and the settlements in it. Today’s gardens unify the harmony and tension generated along these boundaries.”
Gyula Kodolányi
Poet and literary historian
