The event series that aims at creating a meeting place for the Hungarian and other nationalities of the Carpathian Basin concludes with a Gala Concert in Vigadó following concerts in non-Hungarian premises.
The event series entitled the ‘Music of the Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin’, which started in 2001, will stage gala concerts in September and October this year. The concerts will be hosted by the settlements of Beregovo, Nagybánya, Zilah, Obštiná Kanijža, Oberwart, Lendava, Léva and will feature Vujicsics Ensemble, Servet Csango Band, Misztrál Ensemble, CREDO ensemble. The concerts will also host local folk band and dancers, thereby emphasizing the cultural relations between the Hungarians in the Carpathian Basin.
