During this time, I experienced joy, sorrow, success and failure, all in abundance. Looking at my life, I would prefer to go along the song and so “I will only keep my good memories.”  During my life so far, I have designed stamps, I have drawn illustrations for fourteen books, I have taught in the Secondary School of Visual Arts and at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. I have also been bestowed several awards and I have travelled widely and seen beautiful places to my great delight. I have had a few exhibitions I am really proud of. In fact, I have so many plans yet to realise! I hope I will be able to make them come true with the help of God.

I will soon turn seventy: it is said to be a good time to look back on the past, prepare some kind of a summary and present it in the scope of an exhibition. My past has given me joy, sorrow, success and failure, all in abundance. Basically, I regard myself as an optimist, who likes life and people, and I try to live my life cheerfully even in the face of everyday sorrows. During the past nearly seventy years of my life, I learnt how to prepare large mammals, I completed my studies at the Hungarian College of Fine Arts, and I also learnt how to make classical copperplate engravings. I designed stamps and on one occasion I was elected ‘stamp designed of the year’. I have drawn illustrations for fourteen books: some present the anatomy of animals and humans, whereas some are specifically about teaching the art of drawing. One of my books has been translated into twenty-one languages. I have had exhibitions in the Hungarian National Gallery and in Palazzo Medici Riccardi Palace in Florence. I have taught in the Secondary School of Visual Arts and at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest. I like travelling, I have travelled widely and I have seen many interesting and beautiful things, the memories of which I incorporated into my artworks. Actually, I have so many plans yet to realise! I hope I will be able to make them come true with the help of God.
