The continued success of the musical CHESS carries on also in 2016 as the production reaches another milestone in its history. CHESS is now presented in the very heart of Budapest at a magnificent and exceptional location: in Vigadó’s Ceremonial Hall.

The recently re-edited and brand new version of CHESS was presented by PS Productions at Margaret Island Open-air Stage on 7th August 2010 with the participation of the stars of the Dance of the Vampires.

The two-act CHESS is about two love affairs, two break-ups, two men, two women, two very important games of chess and two superpowers: all in one musical, which is nothing short of a fine diamond in its own genre. CHESS portrays love, passion, games of chess and struggle, and it presents the history of two world chess championship final games, which fall victim to the power game between two opposing superpowers.
