The Secrets of Easter (From the Last Supper to Resurrection)

Exhibition by Porcelain Artist and Sculptor Teréz Borza

Teréz Borza graduated from the Hungarian College of Applied Arts in 1979, where she majored in porcelain art. Since then, she has been engaged in artistic work in her studio using her own special techniques. She has been creating artworks from various materials including porcelain, glass, handmade paper, stone and wood. She is a member of the Association of Hungarian Creative Artists and the Hungarian Society of Sculptors, and since 2009 she has been the president of Galéria 12 Association.

She was rewarded with Ferenczy Noémi Award for her artistic work as a porcelain artist and sculptor.

Featuring an installation with a unique design, this exhibition presents her sacral artworks created in the period between 1991 and 2015. Interestingly enough, in the scope of earlier Budapest Spring Festivals, Pesti Vigadó’s Gallery already hosted exhibitions by Teréz Borza: in 1996 under the title Spring Festivities and in 2003 under the title Rebirth.
