Pesti Vigadó Receives Best of Budapest & Hungary Award2017. March 27.
Based on its performance in 2016, Pesti Vigadó has been awarded the first prize in the "best conference and event locations" category in the scope of the Best of Budapest & Hungary Award conferrals.
We would like to take this opportunity and congratulate all of Pesti Vigadó's colleagues on the occasion of winning this award, and we also wish to thank our visitors and guests for their votes and support.
The Best of Budapest Award was founded in 1993 by Budapest Week Publishing in order to acknowledge those Budapest-based service providers that continue to offer constant high quality services. The awardees include a large number of four- or five-star hotels and restaurants in Budapest (separately listed according to category) and also those service providers that offer useful services to the residents of Budapest or to those visiting the capital city thereby simplifying their life or stay in Budapest and thus improving the quality of their everyday experience of the capital city.
The awards are conferred based on support by the general public and professional circles. The general public can start to vote in December every year: banners and fliers posted on webpages, in partner restaurants, hotels and other locations of service provision call upon guests to vote using a website. The general public can vote in over 50 predefined categories but everybody can cast only one vote per category. Following this, a special professional committee established by Budapest Week Publishing checks service providers, assesses their services and ultimately decides about which service providers will receive the awards in the given year as only those service providers can be recognised by the conferral of this award that constantly offer high quality services at the same level of professionality. Award-winning service providers receive a certificate to hang on their walls and a self-adhesive logo that they can place on their entrance doors so that guests and visitors can be well aware of the quality of service they are to experience.
