Zoltán Fejérvári’s Piano Recital

Introducing the winners of 2017’s international piano competitions • 2.2

In May 2017 Zoltán Fejérvári won the Montréal International Piano Competition, walking over the last round with a rendition of Béla Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Currently an instructor at the Liszt Academy’s Chamber Music Programme, the young artist studied at the academy with András Kemenes, Dénes Várjon and Rita Wagner, as well as with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Queen Sofía College of Music in Madrid, for two years.
 

Fejérvári has already played solo parts with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Hungarian National Philharmonic, the Concerto Budapest, the Verbier Festival Orchestra, and the MÁV Symphony Orchestra.

He has participated at such prestigious chamber music festivals as the American Marlboro Chamber Music Festival, and the Kronberg Academy’s Chamber Music Connects the World. The renowned conductors he has collaborated with include Iván Fischer, Zoltán Kocsis and Gilbert Varga.
