The 7th "Open Doors" Day Events boast of an unprecedented high number of visitors, who hopefully had a whale of a time taking part in Pesti Vigadó's programs.
In the scope of the 7th "Open Doors" Day held on 5th May 2018, Pesti Vigadó organised a festival-like series of events and awaited visitors up until the early hours. Visitors could take part in programs in Pesti Vigadó's building and could also attend events organised on Vigadó Square located in front of Pesti Vigadó. On that special day, all members of the family could find some interesting programs for themselves selecting from children's workshops, workshops organised around the theme of sustainability, diverse cultures' folk dance shows and guided tours. As a closing event, an unforgettable concert was held in the Ceremonial Hall.
The 7th "Open Doors" Day events saw a further increase in the number of foreign visitors, which is a clear indication of Pesti Vigadó's becoming one of Budapest's main tourist attractions.
Pesti Vigadó hopes that the next "Open Doors" Day events, organised in the spring of 2019, will be marked by similar success.
