The Budapest Symphony Orchestra Spring Concert

The Budapest Symphony Orchestra is an internationally recognized ensemble, formed in 1992 from members of the best domestic symphonic orchestras. The orchestra has recorded numerous film scores, classical and pop music albums, and is a regular performer in Hungary's music scene at venues such as Vigadó, the Academy of Music, Müpa, and BMC. The orchestra's unique musicality and versatility truly set it apart.

During the evening, in addition to works by Beethoven and Ravel, the symphonic suite for piano and orchestra by Australian composer Mark John McEncroe, Franck Dansaert's 6th Symphony, and the Indian composer, Ganesh B. Kumar's "RISE" Symphony No.1 in D minor, will be performed.The evening's piano soloist is Kristina Moditch, and the conductor is the Italian-American Anthony Armore, currently residing in Vienna.
