The 4th PosterFest in 2024 will again feature an exhibition of works from both the international and local graphic design scene, accompanied by various supporting programs.
The PosterFest in Hungary is part of a long-standing tradition of renowned European and overseas professional exhibitions, which since the second half of the 20th century have provided a representative platform for showcasing the achievements of the poster genre.
An important aim of PosterFest is to primarily engage the younger generation, presenting contemporary posters through their work, as well as exploring the evolving relationship between the genre and the constantly changing visual media of today.
A significant portion of the exhibition will feature works from professional graphic designers who have elevated their craft to a high level of expertise. Additionally, a student competition has been announced, open to students of Hungarian higher education institutions in the arts.
The theme for the 2024 competition is "SAFE PLACE."
