Miklós Lukács is one of the most versatile artists of today’s music scene, whether he plays contemporary music, jazz or folk. His special abilities and unique musicianship have inspired such composers as Péter Eötvös, György Vukán and Mihály Borbély. At this concert with the Hungarian National Philharmonic, he will perform Máté Bella’s work for symphony orchestra and cimbalom, which the composer wrote with Generation Y in mind, and which had its premiere in Germany in 2018.
The concert begins with Luciano Berio’s piece of a magical atmosphere, a captivating completion of symphony fragments by Schubert, and ends with an emblematic work by Ludwig van Beethoven.
This concert of the Budapest Spring Festival is presented by Budapest Festival and Tourism Centre.
