Accord Quartet

The Accord Quartet was founded 15 years ago, in 2001, by students of the Academy of Music.

They soon gained widespread recognition and have since become a crucial formation of the contemporary scene. The composers who have composed works for the quartet include Gyula Fekete, György Selmeczi and Péter Zombola. The Junior Prima Prize (2010) winning group earned the 1st prize at the 2009 Brahms Competition.
