The Hungarian Academy of Arts considers the recognition, support, and encouragement of Hungarian creative artists to be a key mission. Accordingly, each section annually awards two prizes to outstanding representatives of its respective artistic field; four scholarships to members of the middle generation; two lifetime achievement awards to the most distinguished artists of the senior generation; as well as to theoreticians contributing to the field of visual arts.

Organized by the Visual Arts Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts and curated by art historian Katalin Nagy T., the chamber exhibition will be held on the 5th floor of the Pesti Vigadó between 16 December 2025 and 22 February 2026. The exhibition presents works by:

• visual artists Zoltán Gergely, Tibor Palkó, István Stark, and László Zsankó, recipients of the Visual Arts Section’s Artistic Scholarship in 2023–2024;
• painter and graphic artist Sándor Győrffy and visual artist Ferenc Puha, recipients of the Academy’s 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award;
• as well as visual artist László feLugossy and painter Ádám Szentpétery, recipients of the Visual Arts Section’s 2023 Award.
