Budapest Spring Festival Events in Pesti Vigadó

The events of this year's Budapest Spring Festival, organised between 31st March and 23rd April, constitute one of the most exciting spring event series organised in the Hungarian capital. The Festival commemorates not only the 150th anniversary of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867 but also the 135th anniversary of Zoltán Kodály's birth and the 50th anniversary of his death. On top of all this, the Festival presents diverse interpretations of various classical musical pieces. Out of the Festival's 150 events, altogether 11 concerts, dances and operas will be hosted by Pesti Vigadó and staged in its Ceremonial Hall.
