This photo exhibition presents works by scholarship winners of the Hungarian Academy of Arts. Most of the artists present traditional photographs, and there are also special experimental works such as artworks by Kíra Dorottya Krász. Although these works are photo-based, Kíra Dorottya Krász reinterprets the sculptures of Nagyharsány and gives them a personalised touch by adding different materials, textiles and paper to the images as well as by using gluing techniques. This series of hers deals with the sculptures showcased in the Nagyharsány-based Statue Park. The images are based on photographs of sculptures of different sizes, styles and materials erected in the Statue Park, and the artist transforms these photos in imaginative and unexpected ways to create her own "paper sculptures".

"My aim is to preserve, through my own works, not only the visible physical forms of these sculptures but also their inner worlds for posterity,"

Kíra Dorottya Krász explains.
