Chamber music concert by Enrico Onofri and the teachers of Miszla Baroque Early Music Academy

The initiative ‘Early Music Academy’, with its five-year-old history, is an intensive master course organised annually twice. The purpose of the program is to create an opportunity for young Hungarian and foreign musicians to deepen their knowledge of baroque music.

At the Academy, high level of professionalism is guaranteed by internationally renowned music teachers famous for their familiarity with music of the past, including for example Mónika Tóth and Soma Dinyés, who are the professional leaders of the Academy, as well as Christoph Urbanetz, Anna Januj, Jan Cizmar and Balázs Máté. This chamber music concert, commemorating this fifth anniversary of the foundation of the master course, provides a befitting opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and successes of the Early Music Academy achieved so far. Apart from offering the audience a unique musical experience, this event also offers another great occasion to present and popularise music of the past.

The concert held on 22nd October 2016 will feature internationally renowned and exceptionally talented star performer of baroque music violinist ENRICO ONOFRI. ENRICO ONOFRI has not visited Budapest in the past few years, thus his concert is likely to generate intense interest both in professional circles and among lay music lovers. The concert also stars the teachers of Miszla Baroque Early Music Academy.
