The Architectural Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA) remembers Dr. Endre Szűcs, who passed away last year. The extremely rich oeuvre of the artist is intended to be shown in all its diversity. The conference will summarise the architect's creative work and will aim to highlight the links between his work and the way in which his approach will live on organically for generations to come.

The founding master of Mérmű Studio was not only a region-based architect (inspired by the Lake Balaton Highlands), but also a multi-faceted artist who was in lively contact with representatives of almost all artistic disciplines. As a creator of an applied art he consciously and subconsciously incorporated these relationships into his own oeuvre.
