Event organised by the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress
In the scope of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress, Pesti Vigadó hosts the exhibition entitled the “Thousand Faces of Love”. The showcasing addresses the topic of the loving service of the Roman Catholic Church, the importance of its “Caritas” mission, the role of “Caritas” in history and the diverse acts “Caritas” entails.
As part of the series of events of the 52nd International Eucharistic Congress of Budapest held in 2021, this exhibition offers insights into the miracles of compassion fuelled by the Eucharist. Through spectacular installations, interesting objects and interactive panels, the exhibition presents international and Hungarian aspects of acts of love as well as its diversity. Likewise, the Roman Catholic Church’s activities targeting those in need and requiring support are also in focus. This way, the exhibition draws attention to and highlights opportunities of acts of love, which are open to every one of us.
