The Budapest Bartók Dance Ensemble is the adult dance group of the Bartók Workshop.
The 67-year-old ensemble has been a key player in the Hungarian folk dance movement since its founding, regularly participating with success in professional competitions and events. The ensemble’s main goal is to master folk dance at a native level and to authentically present it on stage. Their professional work is characterized by a deep knowledge of authentic folklore, the advanced technical development of dancers, and the creation of folklore and dance-theater productions, all based on pure sources. The strength and unity of our community define the ensemble; it is a bond that unites us all. Our goal is to proudly represent the Bartók name wherever we go with our dancers.
