This year, graphic artist László Ujvárossy, a full member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts (MMA), turns 70. To mark the occasion, he will present his works in the exhibition hall on the 5th floor of the building.
The exhibition curator is art historian János Sturcz, and the opening speech was delivered by Péter Stefanovits.
László Ujvárossy, a Munkácsy Mihály Award-winning graphic artist from Transylvania, is a university professor and has been a full member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts since 2011. He completed his studies at the Music and Fine Arts High School in Târgu Mureș, then went on to study graphic design at the Ion Andreescu University of Fine Arts in Cluj. Since 1993, he has been teaching at the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, and later founded the advertising graphics department at Partium Christian University, where he works as an associate professor and then as a full professor. In 2004, he earned a Doctor of Liberal Arts (DLA) degree from the University of Pécs.
The exhibition will be open until April 27.
