Lilla Orbay is one of the most prominent and versatile figures of the young jazz generation, actively contributing to her ensemble as a vocalist, composer, bandleader, and pianist. Their music draws inspiration from the melodic and atmospheric sound of the 1970s, blending it with modern arrangements and the distinctive improvisational styles of the band members. The group has gained recognition both in Hungary and internationally, performing at prestigious events such as the EuroJazz Festival in Mexico City and the Amersfoort World Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. Their debut EP, Paradise Ablaze, was released in December 2023.
