How to get there
From Széchenyi István Square:
Proceed straight from Széchenyi István Square and turn into the one-way Apáczai Csere János Street, which leads directly to Vigadó Square.
From the Pest side via József Attila Street:
Drive along József Attila Street, pass through Széchenyi István Square, then turn into the one-way Apáczai Csere János Street and continue to Vigadó Square.
From Belgrád Quay:
Drive up from Belgrád Quay to Eötvös Square, then at the first opportunity turn right into the one-way Apáczai Csere János Street and proceed to Vigadó Square.
Parking is available at the following locations:
- Apáczai Csere János Street
- Vörösmarty Underground Garage (1051 Budapest, Vörösmarty Square 1 – access from Deák Ferenc Street)
- Aranykéz Street Parking Garage (1052 Budapest, Aranykéz Street 4–6)
- InterContinental Budapest parking garage (1056 Budapest, Apáczai Csere János Street 12–14)
When travelling by tram lines 2, 2B or 23, please get off at Vigadó Square stop, from where the building can be reached within a short walk.
M1 Metro (from the direction of Mexikói út):
Take the M1 underground line to its terminal station, Vörösmarty Square. From the station, walk along Vigadó Street towards the Danube to reach Vigadó Square, where the Pesti Vigadó is located.
M2 and M3 Metro:
Take the M2 or M3 metro line to Deák Ferenc Square station. After exiting the station, walk along Deák Ferenc Street to reach Vigadó Square.
By bus lines 16 and 105, please get off at Széchenyi István Square stop, from where Vigadó Square can be reached within a few minutes on foot.
In addition, from all bus lines arriving at Ferenciek Square, Vigadó Square is accessible on foot in approximately 10 minutes.

Please note that the exhibitions of the Pesti Vigadó are open to the public every day from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, including individual visits.
By purchasing a Pesti Vigadó House Ticket, you may visit all publicly accessible areas of the historic building (the Foyer, the Grand Staircase, the Ceremonial Hall, and the Panorama Terrace), as well as all of our exhibitions. With a Vigadó Gallery Ticket, you may visit the Pesti Vigadó’s contemporary temporary exhibitions and the permanent exhibition titled Pesti Vigadó Timeline. In addition to the current exhibitions, you can also enjoy the unforgettable experience offered by our Panorama Terrace.
