Discover the more than 190-year history and architecture of the Pesti Vigadó!
Explore one of Budapest’s most impressive cultural landmarks, which is not only an architectural masterpiece but also an important venue of Hungarian history and the arts. Today, it serves as the headquarters of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
At pre-announced times, visitors can tour the entire listed historic building accompanied by our professionally trained guides. During the guided visit, guests can admire the building’s magnificent interior spaces, distinctive architectural features and panorama, learn about the architects and artists who shaped this remarkable place, and discover how the role of the building has evolved over the centuries.

1 és 8 fő között fix áron lehet igénybe venni magyar és idegen nyelven 30.000 Ft/csoport áron. Meg nem jelenés, illetve 48 órán belül történő lemondás esetén a a privát séta jegyárának 50%-át számoljuk fel.

The Pesti Vigadó warmly welcomes groups interested in the building’s beautiful interior spaces, history and panoramic views.
With the assistance of our professional guides, visitors can explore the Pesti Vigadó in Hungarian, English, German, Spanish, French and Russian.

Available at a fixed price of 30,000 HUF per group.
The minimum group size is 15 participants, with a maximum of 35 participants.
If fewer than 15 people attend, the discounted entrance fee based on the minimum group size must still be paid.
For larger groups, the tour can be conducted in separate groups simultaneously, with multiple guides at no additional charge.

Come and explore the Pesti Vigadó through an art-historical theme of your choice!
As part of a thematic architectural and historical walk, students can discover four different topics in a playful and engaging way, deepening their understanding of subjects connected to the Pesti Vigadó and complementing their studies.
- Famous musicians on the stage of the Pesti Vigadó
- The story of Prince Árgyélus and Fairy Ilona, based on the paintings of the Pesti Vigadó’s grand staircase (Journeys into Hungarian folklore and legends)
- Sculptures and Coats of Arms: A journey through Hungarian history
- The birth of Budapest and the coronation banquet of Franz Joseph and Sisi

Ticket prices include guided tours as well as admission to all current exhibitions.
Student and senior tickets are available upon presentation of a valid student ID, pensioner ID, or for visitors aged 65 and over.
The expected duration of the guided tour is 50–60 minutes.
During the tour, visitors may access areas of the building that are not, or only partially, open to the general public.
We kindly ask our guests to observe the house rules and to accept the terms and conditions applicable to our services.
Discounted tickets are available for active teachers working in public education, as well as for persons with disabilities and their accompanying person (maximum one companion per eligible person). Eligibility must be proven with one of the following valid documents:
- A teacher ID validated for the current academic year
- A valid photo ID issued by the National Federation of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- A valid photo ID issued by the National Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted of Hungary
- A valid photo ID issued by the National Federation of Associations of Persons with Physical Disabilities
- An official certificate issued by the Hungarian State Treasury (MÁK) confirming entitlement to disability benefits (together with proof of identity)
- ÉFOÉSZ membership card (together with proof of identity)
- Any other official document (e.g. a medical certificate issued for MÁK purposes or other official use) clearly stating the fact of disability (together with proof of identity)
