For seventy years, the award-winning Sacramento Youth Symphony Premier Orchestra has been a leading force in music education and artistic excellence in Northern California. Founded in 1956 as a small group of dedicated young musicians, it has grown into a vibrant and diverse organization serving performers up to age 21. The orchestra’s international concert tours have taken its musicians across Europe, including the British Isles, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, as well as to China, Brazil, and Costa Rica, enriching both their artistry and global perspective.
