Budafok Brass Ensemble

The ensemble was founded in 2024 and is primarily made up of professional brass musicians living in Budafok. The idea of forming the group was quite literally “in the air”—or in this case, on concert stages. The members have been regularly performing together for years in a wide variety of productions across Hungary, while also sharing strong personal bonds—some are even related. It was therefore only natural for them to establish their own ensemble.

Among the members are musicians from symphony orchestras (such as the Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra and the Hungarian Radio Orchestra), as well as jazz and pop artists. The band’s clear mission is to provide joyful entertainment. Their music blends jazz and funk with Hungarian pop and dance music, allowing audiences to enjoy familiar melodies enriched with virtuosic improvisational solos.
