On the occasion of her 85th birthday, the Theatre Arts Section of the Hungarian Academy of Arts celebrates Lilla Pártay, dancer and choreographer, recipient of the Artist of the Nation title and the Kossuth and Ferenc Liszt Prizes, and a full member of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.
During the evening, a special screening will look back on Lilla Pártay’s rich and diverse life, as well as her outstanding artistic and creative career spanning several decades. This personal retrospective will revisit the defining stages of her career, her memorable choreographies and significant moments from her life as an artist.
What makes the screening particularly special is that it is narrated by Lilla Pártay herself, making the evening both a personal retrospective and a shared remembrance.
As part of the celebration, a pop-up exhibition featuring images and photographs of Lilla Pártay’s work will also be on view.
