“I love spaces with harmony, intimacy and homeliness. As for my artworks, I strive for balance: for me balance is something that provides people with positive signs. In my understanding, through experiencing balance people can explore and feel the importance and power of their environments. Spaces exhibiting balance make people feel good. Originally, I planned to study stage design and graphic arts but I have found my call and dedication in architecture, more specifically in interior design. Even if my nature predestines me to be attracted to soft, organic and lively lines and shapes, the jobs I completed in the past few decades caused me to grow rational and more restrained. I have become more disciplined and more conscious, and this also shows in my work and radiates through it. I believe it is important that one is capable of observing themselves objectively as an outsider, and to be able to criticise and discipline themselves. I have learnt to take into account my clients’ wishes in a way that, while realising their ideas, I can also express my own professional knowledge and artistic personality.

In fact, I belong to those interior designers who create a building from the very start by working in cooperation with the architect, which presupposes that, in my approach, interior and exterior form an inseparable unity. In my understanding, the building should radiate the very concept both as far as its interior and exterior are concerned.

Relying on my almost 50 years of professional experience, I can honestly say that interior design is not only my professional call but also my hobby: it pervades my entire life.”
