Vigadó

This memorial exhibition portrays the lifework of painter Miklós Somos and is open until 2nd July 2017.

This event series presents a wide variety of musical genres including Baroque music based folklore, music and dance of the Carpathian Basin, as well as new renderings of works by Beethoven, Bartók, Mozart and Saint-Saens, along with flamenco and swing tunes.

To celebrate the upcoming Children's Day, Pesti Vigadó's Café is showcasing an exhibition of drawings created by children with serious diseases. The exhibition opened on 24th April 2017.

Ticket sales to Pesti Vigadó's self-organised event series for children has kicked off: tickets for the Children's Season Ticket Program Series ‘Merriment in Vigarda' are now available for sale.

The events of the 37th Budapest Spring Festival kicked off with the opening of contemporary German fine artist Georg Baselitz's exhibition entitled "Preview with Review".

Based on its performance in 2016, Pesti Vigadó has been awarded the first prize in the "best conference and event locations" category in the scope of the Best of Budapest & Hungary Award conferrals.

This year some of the programs of the popular event series Budapest Dance Festival 2017 were hosted by Pesti Vigadó.
